Shalford 3 Guildford Park Reserves 0

With the first team game called of due to a waterlogged pitch, the reserves took centre stage for the day but could only battle to a 3-0 defeat in appalling conditions. The first half was played with the ferocious wind and bright sun against us, just getting the ball over the half way line seemed an achievement. Shalford scored 3 soft goals in the first half but when the tables were turned in the 2nd half it was the Park who applied constant pressure. Man of the match Paul Carter came close when his free kick hit the post but unfortunately we couldn't find the breakthrough and Shalford saw the game out to stay top of the league.
